These are some of the stories and memories of the people, places, and small details I have gathered over a lifetime. They are very near and dear to me.

It is not really a diary. It is a place for me to keep the moments that come back suddenly, softly, or imperfectly — the people, the places, the feeling, the sound, the object, the room, the road, the meal, the song.

Each story is kept as an anchor. Some anchors are public, and some are held closer. All of them are here for the same reason: to keep the texture of a life from fading away.
